Provide technical expertise relating to all features of a large multipurpose hydropower project to subordinate staff and other project employees. Plan and coordinate work tasks, select new employees, set performance standards, evaluate performance, encourage training, and resolve employee issues. Through a staff of about 20 employees, furnish engineering services, drafting services, and other technical assistance to the project, manage contracts for installation, rehabilitation and maintenance of project facilities.
Serve as Equal Employment Opportunity Counselor for Operations Division and Portland District. Use communication and other people skills to counsel individuals, facilitate improvement of communication, resolve disputes, and promote tolerance and respect for cultural differences.

Supervised five power plant shift operators, selected project equipment for reliability testing and supervised the test, determined need for new or replacement equipment or systems, was responsible for adequate safe clearance procedures.
Provided supervision of the maintenance foreman for Lost Creek, Applegate, and Elk Creek Dams.
Represented the Operations Manager for daily activities, especially when technical and operational issues were involved. In the absence of the Operations Manager, assumed the duties of that position.
